The silver George V sixpence, a silver coin consisting of approximately 0.05 troy ounces of silver with a silver purity of 50%, features King George V on the obverse and a lion surmounting a crown (1911-1927) and an oak sprig with six acorns (1928-1936) on the reverse.
- 1937-1946 Silver George VI Sixpences
The silver George VI sixpence, a silver coin consisting of approximately 0.05 troy ounces of silver with a silver purity of 50%, features King George VI on the obverse and a crowned GRI dividing the date (1937-1948) and crowned GVIR dividing the date (1949-1952) on the reverse.
