Here is a list of 50% silver crowns available in the primary or secondary
silver market. Each coin is composed of 50% silver in terms of the millesimal fineness of the
silver:
- 1927-1936 Silver George V Crowns
The silver George V crown (5 shillings), a silver coin consisting of approximately 0.45 troy ounces of silver with a silver purity of 50%, features King George V on the obverse and a Wreath on the reverse (except for 1935).
- 1937 Silver George VI Crown (Coronation Crown)
The silver George VI crown (5 shillings), a silver coin consisting of approximately 0.45 troy ounces of silver with a silver purity of 50%, features King George VI on the obverse and a large shield, crowned and supported by a lion and unicorn on the reverse.
