The focus in this section of the Silver Bullion website will be on 5 oz silver ingots (silver bars). Depending on the quantity acquired or bought, these silver ingots (silver bars) are at the lower end of less serious levels of physical silver ownership. It is no secret after all that silver bullion bars (silver bars) come in different sizes ranging from as small as less than 1 oz to as large as a 1000 oz, although the standard sizes are: 1 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz, 100 oz and a 1000 oz. In addition, we prefer to refer to silver bullion bars (silver bars) of 10 oz or less as silver ingots and have created a separate section focusing specifically on silver ingots.

Furthermore, silver ingots, especially those featuring designs such as the German Iron Cross and other interesting designs, afford the silver investor with a “double play” in terms of investment potential. In addition to design, limited editions can also help to create some form of collector’s value. Silver ingots with design or artwork on it are called silver art bars. In fact, Silver Bullion is not aware of a single silver ingot with collector’s value that doesn’t have some form of design or artwork on it. Thus, when we refer to silver art bars here, it will be always be in reference to silver ingots (silver bars) with a collector’s value attached to it.
